Agora as a photography location
Many people has already realized that exterior and interior parts of Agora provide excellent place for wedding photography. We are pleased to provide you the background in return for purchasing the ticket for admission. Please make an appointment in advance specifying the date, time and exact location on demand to avoid any conflict with our visitors or programs.
Agora tickets allow taking photos also in the Botanical Garden.
The entrance is at Móricz Zsigmond Road. The GPS coordinates of the entrance is: É 47.557387 K 21.616698
We suggest to drive off from M35 motorway at the Debrecen észak/Debrecen Józsa exit and head towards Debrecen.
Although Agora’s car parking space is integrated into the University of Debrecen parking system it’s free of charge for Agora’s visitors. The parking ticket received at the entrance must be validated on arrival at the information desk inside the Science Center. Failing to validate properly, the visitor will lose the free parking privileges!
Entering and leaving the Campus can be done in either of the entrances but we recommend using the one at the Móricz Zsigmond road because it is the nearest to our building.
There is also a bicycle parking area with 50 spots outside the parking entrance at the Móricz Zsigmond road. The Science Center can also accommodate a private bus at a dedicated bus parking area at that entrance.
Agora can be reached easily even by public transport. Coming from the city centre by tram nr.2 you have to get off at Csokonai Vitéz Mihály Gimnázium station. From there it is a 5 minutes walk to the main entrance at Móricz Zsigmond Road.
Buses nr. 10, 10Y, 10A, 12, 22, 22Y, 23Y, 24, 24 Y and 51E stop at the nearest bus stations (Sportkollégium, Kartács utca, Egyetemi sporttelep, Dóczy József utca, Csokonai Vitéz Mihály Gimnázium).
For timetable, please check the website of DKV.
You may approach the service entrance from Dóczy József Street at the Campus gate in Egyetem Square.
